The Perfect Son

A mother was boasting to her friends about her son, saying: “My son is the epitome of a perfect young man. 
He’s intelligent, athletic, and handsome. In fact, I’ve never seen him do anything wrong in his entire life!” 
One of her friends said, “Oh really? Has he ever told you a lie?” The mother thought for a second and said, “No, he’s always been honest.” 
Another friend chimed in, asking, "Has he ever been late or shown you any rudeness at all?” The mother replied, “No, never. He’s always been on time and very polite.” 
A third friend said, “Has he ever done something you didn’t like?” The mother thought for a moment and said, “Well… there was that one time when he said something that really surprised me.” Curious, the friends asked, “What did he say?” The mother sighed, “He said, ‘Mom, I’m getting married.”
